Scout does not replace the curriculum with random adaptive questions. Each learner is anchored to an appropriate programme, while their route through it is personalised by evidence.

The Scout Progress Promise
We should be able to show you that learning is moving forward.
Scout is built around evidence, not activity for activity's sake. When a child follows their personalised programme consistently, we track whether understanding is becoming more secure, whether weak areas are being resolved and whether important learning is still there when it returns later.
What the promise is built on
We measure more than a headline score
Progress can appear in mastery, retention, accuracy, assessment performance, independence and the resolution of identified gaps.
We keep checking
A skill is not treated as permanently solved because it was answered correctly once. Important learning returns so retention can be evidenced.
The learner has a part to play
The planned participation and scheduled assessments matter. A personalised system can only respond to the evidence a learner creates.
Our intended commitment
If the evidence does not show measurable progress, we do not want to simply shrug and move on.
The Progress Promise is designed so that, subject to the published terms, eligible learners who complete the agreed programme consistently and scheduled progress assessments can have their core learning continued at no additional subscription cost when measurable progress cannot be demonstrated over the defined review period.
